The organizing committee of the International Social Work Congress 2017 (ISWC 2017) invites you to submit abstracts on research, practice, policy and education that have significant impact on future of the social work profession. 

1. Please send your abstracts (apr. 700 words) to the congress secretariat iswc@hacettepe.edu.tr. 
2. To submit an abstract you have to complete the all fields of the abstract templates.

3. Upon successful submission, authors will receive an acknowledgement via email.  If you have submitted your abstract, but not received an email, please contact us at iswc@hacettepe.edu.tr
4. For your other questions (accomodation, transportation, social program etc.) about the congress please send an e-mail to infoswcongress2017@gmail.com
5. Describe the rationale, objectives and results of the study in the abstract so that the Scientific Committee of ISWC 2017 can evaluate the quality, originality, and completeness of the abstract
   1. Only abstracts following the guidelines in the templates will be accepted. 
   2. Total word count of not more than 700 words for each abstract.
   3. Please do indicate your preference for either oral or poster presentation. 

6. The Organizing Committee invites participants to submit abstracts of original scientific work that had not been used, submitted before for oral and/or poster presentations.
7. Attendees will be given 15 minutes to present their paper with 5 minutes for discussion. Please bring your presentation in a USB flash drive. Each presentation room will be equipped with a laptop and a screen for PowerPoint presentations. The laptop will be set up for PowerPoint presentations.
8. Abstracts must be received by 01.02.2017 (Final closing date)
9. The author of each abstract accepted will be notified by email at 01.03.2017.
10. Abstracts will be published as submitted in the proceedings book.
11. All abstracts accepted for presentation (either oral or poster) will be published only if payment of registration has been made.
12. If the author(s) submit full papers of their abstracts, full papers will be published in two books (English and Turkish seperately). There will also be reviewing process for all submitted full papers.
